Pursuant to a meeting held on 4/1/09, between the Small Town Communications, Inc. and the Rural Broadband Alliance Corp., specific grant funds are now sought to offset the equipment cost of High Speed Satellite Internet Service to specific rural residents, who reside in those areas that fall within the parameters of category #1, and also category #2. Potential applicants are to be grouped into lots of 500, with the requests representing newly activated recipients of high speed satellite internet service. Approvals and disbursements will be forwarded by (USPS), directly to the active customer’s address, within 30 days of the primary approval.
Disbursements will be allocated from awards requested in the amounts of $150,000 for each grouping. All specific allocations are limited to $300.00 per applicant who has been actively receiving high speed satellite enhanced internet service for at least 30 days prior to the award announcement.

The document attached hereto, is an application for acceptance into a grant awards project, that, in effect, would provide for the reimbursement of specific equipment costs, incurred by residents of the contiguous United States, who reside in those areas that have been designated to be specifically under-exposed to the reception of, but not limited to, cable driven high speed broadband internet service. The filing of this application does not constitute an agreement between any third party to act on behalf of the primary applicant, except to act a disbursement agent of grant funds in the amounts divisible by the total applicant count of each group with relationship to the actual awarded grant amount for the specific applicant’s group.
Terms and Conditions of the Application
Example
An award of $150,000 for any applicant group of 500 would involve the division of the total award by the amount of viable applicants: thus $150,000.00 divided by 500, would equal a benefit to each accepted applicant of $300.
Application Fees are Non-Refundable
Each individual application must be accompanied by either of the following:
- A check or money order in the amount of $2.00
- Or A check or money order in the amount of $1.50 plus one 50 cent US Postal Stamp.
- Or Four (4) US Postal Stamps valued at 50 cents each.
